Nice man I really like the build! I'm over in Lexington so we should go off roading someday. In fact, I'm heading to Owenton this Saturday to off road you should come if you can. I'll PM you my number.

finally got my first piece of armor, for the 4runner...Meet up with Haddix and scored this beauty!! HADDIX - 03 DoubleCab TRD build - Tacoma World Forums
The skid is CNC plasma cut 3/16th USA steel.

Cant wait to get it mounted up...going to throw some coats of paint on it in the AM....

Had been drivin on interstate all week...seen this bah, and decided to go up it...was tired of the beatin path...lol

The road gets pretty muddy...

So i decided to take a quick pic of this log cabin, seeing the snow plow coming up the road i decided to jump out anyways...Yeah long story short my ra TARD ed a S S got a snow shower LOL!!

Got back on the road and had to weave my way through this mess....there was probably 30-40 cars & trucks slide off the roads on both sides.











Finally got around everyone...(No Toyotas seen or there would be recovery pics...or even a Jeep...would pulled it out just for braggin rights! LOL!)


Got to slow down and enjoy some of the best parts about the Appalachian Mountains...


Cleaned the snow off the roof rack...

Love the Winter shots! I've got 18" of snow on the ground here!
I'm interested in your rack bushings, sway bar bushings and end links... did you order them on-line? Our local parts shop wants a stupid amount of $$ for reg. bushings, I've been thinking of buying on-line. As I've had to cross the mountains in full Winter weather twice in the last 2 weeks, I wasn't very happy with the steering response. I believe my ball joints and tie rod ends are ok and I've seen the vids of bushing issues-- my next job, possibly...?

I got my steering rack bushing from Toytec and a few months later I ended up changing the entire rack, worth the 20$, I bought the endlinks locally for the front, the rear I am making with Polyperformance endlinks....

Again, Thanks! I really like what you've done with the truck. I just finished my grille and as soon as I can get the truck in the garage, I need to get some mechanical work completed. My intention, as finances allow, is to do the Tundra brake upgrade (I tow a sportboat), replace the rear springs and/or install airbags, ISR mod or CAI, and possibly an exhaust upgrade... so many things to do, so little money! The obstacle to these ambitions is that we'll be giving birth to a College kid this September!!!

Tomorrow is my lil girls birthday so I am gonna take her to build a bear and chuckle cheese Sunday church @ 11 then free, Monday Lexington @ 10 Tuesday court @ 9 lex @ 1 Wednesday lex can't remember time Thursday lex 10 Friday lex @ 11...

Monday works for me man! Slate or Richmond I don't care as long as here is a trail or not...really as long as there are no trees in the way and a dirt road I will be happy!! LoL! I've been locked up for 14 days bro it don't matter lol

Sounds like a plan man...all good mods to start with, the isr mod and cai aren't all that expensive and really all u get is sound a lol better throttle response but still yet my favorite mods lol! Exhaust is something u gotta be careful with because if ur not careful u will have ur 4runner sounding like a pissed off bumble bee lol!! Magnaflow sounds decent and a 50 series flow master sounds good too....grill looks good man! Attention to detail is the best advice I can give lol!
