Guess what, everyone has different criteria for what constitutes a "worthy" nomination. For the record, I didn't realize that Autobond had sold their 4Runner. All teh same, here are just some of the criteria that I have seen posted in these threads

- Serious Build Thread
- Current/Active Member
- Detailed write-ups
- Must be wheeled
- Must do all fab work yourself, no "buy a build"
- Must pay for all work yourself, no gifts?

Where do you draw the line, at some point, there is so much criteria for a worthy nomination that only a small number of members can be chosen. At the end of the day, to me it is about looking at the nominees and thinking, "now that is a sweet 4Runner"
When we first brought the 4ROTM
back I nominated 1clean4Runner and Gaterose and was told they don't count. Try not to be so nit-picky and impose so many rules. Remember, this is supposed to be fun. By the way Zack, you're self-nomination has been rejected because you don't have a rear wheel carrier or off-road bumpers :flamethrwoer2:

No I know it's fun. I just don't think it's fun if we nominate somone that isn't an active member (not talking about josh) or someone who doesn't even own a 4runner. I wasn't trying to piss anyone off either. Just trying to keep it fair. I didnt try to self nominate either, no one would vote for my hoopty anyway.

Not to be nitpicky here Josh but it seems like you might have some 4th gen drivers side lean with your set up. Maybe you should add a spacer on the drivers side rear coil to cancel it out. Could just be a full tank of gas though.....

EDIT: Actually NO....the amount of nominations is pretty pathetic so let's give a few more days for nominations. I'll start the poll monday which still gives us more than half a month of voting.

So ill start off the continued nominating....I'd like to second Gaterose. Its pretty self explanatory, he's got a great looking rig with many mods that have become "must do's" on my runner. Also, his 2wd 4runner gets places my 4wd would look twice at and he's got the pictures to prove it!

FYI you only get one nomination so unless you edit your first post, your nomination is A10MileHusker.

That is because Autbond no longer has his 4runner. And that's not to say anything negative about him or his rig/build (this goes for all inactive users or users who sold their rigs) but its just that there are so many worthy rigs that are active forum users and deserve to win.

Plus its a bit of a kick in the nuts when you get a winner that doesn't participate and finally chimes in at the end saying "oh, I didn't even know I was nominated"...well ****! We had 4 great rigs owned by active users but the 1 guy who ended up winning doesn't even give a **** about T4ROTM or T4R.org

Not to say I put alot of work in doing this, but there is a little bit involved and the only thing I ask for in return is to have winners that deserve the title of T4ROTM and are happy to have it.

ok im not a big 4gen guy but im thinking between the josh and the cool storm trooper truck of javelin somebody persuade me either way LOL!!!:driving: never mind I voted For the storm trooper truck its bad A--
