Hi All!

I'm kind of running out of intros and its 4am (just got home from a night shift) so lets just get into this one.

As usual, we'll start with nominations but don't forget..this month is going to be 2nd Gens ONLY. Please include a picture and a build thread link if your the first to nominate a member. The poll will be put up in this thread around June 10th so be sure to get your nominations in quickly.

Also I have to apologize because as per another members request, I was going to start this thread alittle earlier to give more time for the nominations but I forgot. Will try for next month. However don't be afraid to call me out on requests that don't happen. I try to carry out all suggestions but occasionally I forget.

One more thing, if the nominees have a particular photo they would like to be used as there nomination photo, please feel free to post it here or pm it to me. It doesn't have to be the photo that is picked by the member who nominates them.

90, SAS, 22re, 5spd, 5” All Pro Leaf springs on all corners, Dual stock cases, 4.88 gears, Detroit locker front, welded rear, Bud Built cross member, Trail Gear rear bumper, Interior roll cage, 37” Irock’s on re-centered H1 bead locks (not Pictured), etc, etc……….
Serves as a part time DD and full time wheeler!

Can't really do a build thread since I didn't build it. :sobbing: I've added a few things, rebuilt some other things, but still didn't "build" it. I know it's kind of like cheating in a way, but it's way cheaper to buy something someone no longer wants.

I can however provide more pics.

Well, we've definitely gotta have Nate's beast in this showdown! Here's a nomination for GonOvr and his tall hybrid. Can someone help out on the pic and build link--I'm not the most computer literate guy on the block (darn old farts!).

Lets see here, so far my choices are:

1. SAS on 37's
2. Monster truck with 383 stroker
3. smaller monster truck w/ Nissan TD
4. SAS w/350 and yota 5-sp
And then theres:
5. S.S. Minnow, the build i would do!

I just read FootofGod's build and its simple but functional! I couldnt even venture a guess as too who's winning this month! :shrug:

Well, I guess we can rule out 2nd Gens as being universally popular--with the lack of responses so far, this looks more like the plague generation. And yes, Casper, I see your point--many of the most well-known modified ones seem to be following the same (or similar) paths. I've seen some very nice ones on here that aren't so radical, but those were nearly all in older posts where the owner doesn't seem very active with the forum (or is even still around at all).

I second Footofgod. After seeing Bill's runner in person, i like it much more. His build is nothing show worthy, nothing shiny, just simply functional and effective with good mods done in the right order.

I was going to nominate BucknutBob as well, but after looking through the already nominated builds, this is going to be a tougher decision than last month!
