What can I say. I got an offer I couldn't refuse. I never thought I would sell it, but this last week of my back problems (bulged discs, pinched nerves, nerve damage) making my left leg worthless to operate a clutch meant we went ahead with the plan for a family car. I almost didn't want to post b/c people would take it wrong and say it's unfair to stay in the ROTM Poll.

I always say "Let the chips fall where they may." so it goes double here. This is a really close group of votes and I am still honored to have you nominate me. I needed to be clear in conscience and let people know to keep the votes fair. I simply can't take votes knowing it might be considered unfair. When someone I pm'd said "..ultimately it's not just the Ownership bit, it's how you built it and what you're also like as a member." I realized what needed to be said above. If I lose votes because of this decision I'm fine. In the meantime we're breaking in a 2013 Forester 2.5X-Premium.

~The car works better since I don't need to sit there lifting my daughter up into her car seat and then climb up into it. *My back felt great the last two days, big difference from having to sit in pain until I fell asleep.

Also, I would never have gotten close to what I have put into it in any other situation, so this was the time to move.

I can always build another rig another day and I've got three I'm currently helping build, so it's not like I'm out of the game entirely.

That right there is why I struggled initially whether to wait and say something or be up front and honest. Honesty works for me, backhanded hiding of stuff never goes well. People deserve to know, plain and simple. Making people pissed at me doesn't serve anyone. Let the chips fall where they may. I said my peace. I still would love to see the build win, but at least this way it's with my conscience being clear.
