Planning any other major mods?[/QUOTE]

Need to get back on the inside so plumbing and a sink. Also toying with the idea of a fold out propane bbq grill permanently mounted and a fold out roof ladder.

The crossbar and hitch receiver for the front.

Did you consider just cutting out the factory front crossmember and using 2x3x1/4 or 3/16 rectangular tubing, then putting the receiver hitch in that? That's what I did....and you don't lose any approach angle (but you do have to drill your hitch insert top to bottom for the bolt....or stick the receiver out further).

It looks low in the pic, but it's definitely out of the way when climbing over stuff. I built it out of a scrap tow bar and after two accidents and one totaled truck, it's more for idiot protection.

Got another part of the truck painted. If the weather holds up I'll paint more soon. I like the grey next to the grill.

I want to see those torpedo launchers in action!
I guess you decided against Tan or Green for the Military look?
I like the Grey.
5 Star thread!

What paint are you using? I just painted my aluminum rims with Rust-Oleum silver rim paint, with green self etching primer. They look beautiful but I'll reserve judgement until after a couple years.

I'm using rustoleum as well. I'm prepping the clear coat with a Scotch Brite pad first. The back and bumpers have a first coat of bed liner and they hold up really nice.

Finished painting the whole truck. Glad I finally did, it really brings it all together.

I still have 2 light boxes to make that will trim out the center, but it's finally on.
