Wow, you do incredible work! I actually registered this account just to say so. It looks much better with the whole thing painted now.

Have you thought about doing some custom side view mirrors? The stock 4runner mirrors are so streamlined and plastic looking. I love the look of the mirrors on military vehicles and old America pick-up trucks: big stamped piece of metal with beefy brackets bolted to the side of the truck.

I was thinking about doing something to the mirrors and incorporating led ditch lights.

Here it is, mounted with 12 1/2 inch hardened bolts.

I haven't checked in with your build in a while. WOW !!! I am incredibly impressed with how much additional work you have done.

Question: On your rear bumper, what are the clevis pins for?

I remembered reading that you installed a couple of airbags to handle extra weight but that was before the major "Armor" fabricating. Have you made any additional changes to the suspension since adding all the weight? I'm curious how those airbags are holding up.

Surprisingly well. I was worried about how well they would handle off road and they have been great.

Getting back to my truck finally. I'm extending the back section and ultimately getting rid of the rear windows so I can fit the microwave above the sink and counter. Here's the roof extensions.

I'm not a huge fan of stickers on my rig but I gotta say those Punisher TRD stickers are great. Who doesn't like the Punisher? Even with Marvels 3 miserable failures to turn the comic into a movie. lol

Yeah, I try to keep stickers to a minimum now. And the punisher is awesome.

Time to start the inside. Building a roll bar next to strengthen the frame since my kids ride in the back. The electrical conduit is the pattern.

Roll bar is ready for installation as soon as the paint dries. I'm going with ultra flat khaki camouflage paint for the interior.

I'm putting tie downs along the sides of the new addition. I connected them with bars to hide the horizontal seam and I'm using 1/2 inch bolts to give it a heavier look. The bars are actually folded 24 Gage sheet to save weight.

Just finished the stainless counter top. It will set it the corner along the roll cage. The two holes are to mount the coffee maker.

Got the basics mounted; microwave, coffee machine and 12 volt fridge.

Got the bungee rack loaded. It works great and adds some extra storage while securing the back from anyone who breaks in the front.

Got a light weight shallow 12 inch subwoofer box in the works. It'll be air tight and rigid without all the weight.

Finished assembly of the box. Just need to seal the cracks and mount it in back.
