Question for you guys with the 06 LEDs light. is the red part still pinkest looking like the older stock tail light ?? if not that I would luv to get a set!

It's a really red with white turn signal and smoked reverse.

I have an '05 and had no problem what-so-ever, but there are some posts of others with '03s where they had to make a slight mod to the connector to get it to fit.

Hi AlexJet: I could not help noticing your V VT-I emblem and V6 ...where can I get them? and price? I have been trying to do this mod for a while. After looking at your led mod...I am also thinking in changing them. Thanks

Sorry, didn't see at first time. I got both from eBay. This was much cheaper then from dealer (~1/2 price). The "V6" is from 2004 Highlander and "vvt-i" from 2004 Celica. First one was something like $12 and second ~$10.

This was an easy and definitely worthwhile mod. Tom from Partznet was great and they shipped FAST! I also like the single LED side marker.

Nice pics, but they don't do justice to how bright and how red these lights really are.

You're right, they don't. I had the Runner in our pitch-black garage, and had my son step on the brake while I stared at the taillights. I was seeing spots for like 5 minutes afterwards!

I'm going to take a drive tonight and see what things look like behind me.

i got it when i first got my truck in 03.. i dont remember where, but if you get a 4x4 mag. they'll have them it in some of the advertisements.

It's a single LED on the side of the tail assembly. Alex captured it in his pic at the top of page 3 of this thread.
