TB boring ?

Anyone tried or even heard of someone having throttle body bored on the 1GR-FE ( dual VVT-I ) ? Next week I'm sending my 2zz-ge TB off to Maxbore. I'll wait till I get it back to see if any port blending is necessary. He claims I will not need a port match since the intake port is oversized compaired to the stock TB.
I believe the intake port on the 5th Gen is a composite piece , if so port blending would not be possible. I haven't had the TB off the Runner so don't know internal dimension of TB vs the intake port and if a TB bore would even be beneficial. Possibly do a tapered bore and a TRD or similar air box . May inquire to see if he has done any 1GR-FE TB's or recommendations.

What is your question? If it's having the throttle body on the 5th gen bored then no, nobody here has done that I'm aware of.

There's been a few posts mentioning taking of the TB and cleaning it. Any one of those members want to chime in with their observations of the TB and intake? I don't think anyone has port matched them.
