Test your internet speed and post so we can compare if we need tune ups on our computer or complain to your ISP company.



This one is from my work (T1 or T3 I guess). I can't complain and hopefully I wont get in trouble.
I'll post another one from home w/c is a DSL.

To test yours, just click on my image, it will bring you directly to the speed page.
Test to the closest server in your area, once done you will have a few options.
left click on forum link, it will automatically copy the link & image, then post it here just by pasting it.

Not very fast on the upload - for some reason; but my download speed is quite adequate for my purposes.

Depends -- what is the committed speed for your service? For cable, upload is always slower than download.

I think mine would keep going higher if the download didn't end.... It consistently goes up until the file download finishes.

no, if you max out before the file finishes, your speed stops until the file is downloaded.

The problem is the small file sizes.... for people with faster connections it doesn't allow for accurate results.

Here are my results. I have two other sites that check your speed and they have different results. I like the first site with the frog, because it shows where you are on the inter-net highway, plus I love the frog eyes.
