I don't even know where to begin...

not to contribute on the "hating" but here is my opinion... that is the purpose of this forum right? To share opinions?

First of all, I would have been really pissed if someone would have cut me off in traffic and then purposly driven slowly just to anger everyone. In fact I probably would have passed them, in my V6.

From there I would have to say I disagree with your approach, instead of driving, "tactially" which I am going to have to go out on a limb as say you don't have any formal training in. The safer and smarter maneuver would have been to drive cautiously to a police station, or well lit convience store.

As far as the whole Sig thing, I remember from one of my earliest firearms instructors that just because you have a hammer, doesn't mean you have to constantly be looking for nails.

Just my 2 cents. Let the disagreements begin.

1. Trained by the Navy in tactical driving and protection maneuvers.

2. I would like to see anyone drive cautiously to a police station when the closest one is at least 5 miles away and with a dipshit hanging out the window with a baseball bat.

3. I wouldn't have shot the gun unless they presented a weapon first. I would have only used it for scare purposes and took their keys. I'm not wanting to hurt anyone...

I have a greater responsibility with a CCW and the first thing I'd have done was get on the cell, or get the guy's license number if possible and call or head to a police station, if known.

IMO that is EXACTLY what a CCW is for. People assaulting you when you cannot escape. Also, there was no front plate on the vehicle but I did call the police and made a report following the incident, BUT, who can guess it???? NOTHING can be done!! Therefore, I choose to protect myself...

This whole thing was just my rant. I did not mean for it to be a debate. Somewhat of a cathartic post... I appreciate the comments; however, except for those who assume I acted in a manner other than I did
