Well i guess the Toyota Corp. just forgot about the OPs little problem,since it's past the date they said they would get back to him and he has not posted they have called him.
Oh well Toyota Corp. is very busy these days correct? Busy BIG Toyota Corp.:bravo:

When i traded off a 03 KIA Sorento for my 08 4Rnner, i recall taking with a Service Tech. in regards to how worthless KIAs 100,000 mile warranty was and how poorly KIA Corp. responded to my calling them about my dealer,telling me everything I found wrong was not covered under their warranty.

He looked at me and said don't expect much better from Toyota.:guitar2:

So far i have never had to call them about anything,and i have never taken my 08 4Runner to their service Dept.
I change my own oil and filter,and so far nothing has failed.

I do almost everything myself. Suspension, bearings, u-joints, all fluids, etc. I have done and will continue to do myself. I rarely have something happen that requires me to take it to a professional so I have very few instances to compare.
