I had to head back up to norman today, work the next three days. I started an hour early and headed to haltom city before I went north to see the truck to get my house keys, parking pass, work badge etc. and oh my goodness....
Shit celly pics for now but they'll do. The shop messed up and sprayed my bumper (I told them not too) but we put it on and I think I'm going to keep it. I think it looks good, and really clean. still need to put the fenders and much more on. More pics soon...
I'm so stoked. So broke. Boomer Sooner.

Really nice build so far, and the bedliner looks sick!
Ive been thinking about doing something similar and your is the first 3rd gen ive seen with it done.
Was it a specific company like linex?
Cost to do it?
Did they do all the prep for you?
Could the have done it with the flares on?

Thanks man, it's been really cool to see my vision come together.
1. The liner I used is made by the shop that I got it done at. it's called fat lip customs in Haltom City, Texas. It's a "no fade" bed liner and they gave me a life time guarantee on it. If you go to their website they have some pretty cool specs on it in comparison to name brand liners. Spray-On Bedliners | Fat Lip Customs
2. The cost was very reasonable compared to other quotes I got at $800
3. yes they did all the prep for me
4. yes they could have done it with the flares on. I'm kind of regretting not doing it like that right now as I'm dealing with trying to put the flares back on. The liner is too thick for the clips to fit so I'm trying to figure out how to put them back on.
By taking the flares off I think it creates a cleaner look and it's not as liable to chip etc.

Don't worry, it won't be 2wd forever. Once I graduate, I'm pretty much guaranteed some lag time until I find a "career" and the plan is to do a 5speed, 4wd, manual hub conversion...unless I find myself in a real pinch, Franky isn't leaving haha I have reached the point of no return with not only my monetary but emotional investments.
Oh yeah...once my wallet recovers, I'll be back in the market for a locker !

I have a fairly half assed write up earlier in the build, The signals are off the shelf from autozone, wired to blink with the corner lights aswell (rather than the corners just being running lights).
