The future of the 4Runner

Once in a while I talk to the owner of a dealership here in town, he's a customer of mine. Today I asked him if he thinks toyota will stop making the 4R, a common question I see on this forum. He said no because the 4R is a niche vehicle. But more importantly, he said he was on a conference call with the president of toyota himself, Toyoda said there have been rumors of the 4R not going to be made anymore, but I want to let u guys know, the 4R is my baby, it's going no where. Maybe that's why it's made in Japan?

That's a good news, I really hope that Toyota still have 4Runner as a real SUV in 6 years from now when I plan to buy a new 4Runner : )

Hopefully they will put the JBL speaker option back in the TE

i hope they still have the 4runner in 20 years so i can give my current 4runner to my kid and buy myself a new one :trophy:
