No worries.
So I make sure I'm counting coils right, if I start at the end of the spring, does that count as one? Then count each one directly about that?
Also, any idea where the part number might be stamped on the spring?

Just make sure you stat at the same place on each coil, probably where it makes the first wrap, then do the other exactly the same.

Alright, tried to get better pictures here. I'm counting 1 more coil on passenger side than driver. Can you guys tell that too? Can you guys confirm that drivers side should have the 1 more coil?

Ok SoCal, this is what I have :
Drivers side: 8 Coils, coil dia in thousands: .648
Pass side: 9 Coils, coil dia in thousands: .676
Maybe there is more actual weight on the passenger side and that's why there are more coils and a larger dia spring coil.
I don't know this as fact, but is something to think about!

Why would there be different sized coils and more wraps on the pass side.
My T4R sits only 3/8" lower IIRC on the drivers side (when I can find the most level surface).
Posted this stuff so you could actually see what the dimensions are to try to help.... I am at a loss as well!
EDIT: BTW, how much is the height difference from drives side / pass side?
I don't recall seeing #'s....been too busy trying to get measurements and spring coil wraps for comparison, maybe I missed it! LOL
Maybe [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] could grab his mic's and see if his is the same, or if there are any differences.

You have a 2wd correct? Responses should be limited to 2wd owners as nobody knows if the springs are different between 2wd and 4wd. Also yoi have to realize the steel and or the metallurgy could be different too. All springs are not the same. Coil count and diameter is fine as long as everything else is equal but in your situation you need to find an exact copy of your vehicle to get the data. I know on the SR5 4WD the shock and spring P/N changed between 2010 and 2015 somewhere. You need same year and same drive and the same model
Understand completely, and that's why I have posted as such above. Found the part number, and they are different. So I would assume the greater number of coils on one side should be similar throughout regardless, right? I can't imagine I'm the only 2014 SR5 Premium 4x2 owner on here.

Way to help out a bro with something that would cost you nothing more than a walk outside. I drove by my dealer, no 4x2s on the lot. Sorry dude.
So what are your thoughts? Everybody but one has said thicker/more coils on drivers side. Should I start a poll?

This probably doesn't help you but guys in 4th gen would use the FJ coils which are driver/pass. coded & they would just use 1 rear spacer on driver's side to correct lean ? Since I just finished my 51s on front but I used some 14 FJ coils also coded on my 11 set at 2.50 & so far haven't noticed a lean , if you have time & $$$$ flip em around & see ?
That's the thing though. I'm trying to determine what is right before I go back to 4wheelparts and accuse them of doing it wrong.
So color or not at this point, should the spring withe more coils be on drivers side As mentioned previously in this thread?
