The Most AMAZING 4X4 Trip Ever!!! PIC AND VIDEO HEAVY

Today was by far the best 4wheeling expirience of my life. Not because of the trail, though it was awesome, but the variety of vehicles and how friendly everyone was just made for the perfect trip. There was 12 4X4's total which consisted of: 4- 3rd gen T4R's (luigi123, 00Spork, Glen and me), 1- 4th gen T4R (ric) 1- 2nd gen T4R, 1- Jeep Wrangler, 2- Jeep Rubicons, 1- Hummer H1, 1- Nissan Pathfinder (it didn't find many paths lol) and 1- Nissan Exterra. We went to China Wall cause Sluaghter House was packed but I'm glad we went cause China is much more exciting.

I previously made a statement in a thread that I thought my 4runner could keep up with a Rubicon. Well I still stand behind my statement but I did get out-wheeled by a Rubicon today.....but Glen didn't. It was one rock hill of the entire day that stopped me and the only reason was because I have no lift and I kept getting hung up on my bumper. But Glen made it with no locker in his 01 T4R because he has at least 3 inches and 33" tires. So yes, I got out-wheeled by a Rubicon, but thankfully Glen saved my ass.

no way, ric and all of us 4runnerers? were giving all the jeepers a hard time. If you're talking about the "4Runner Mini Van" ric came up with that!

Im gonna build it so i can have the best of both worlds. By the time I'm done with it, I'll have it smoking Corvettes on the drag strip, then smoking Rubicons on the trails hahaha.

HAHAHA. Or you could vacation out here this summer for one of our BIG wheeling/camping trips we've been talking about.

Thai I lost my challenge with you. I got beat by a rubicon today. but thankfully another 3rd gen T4R stepped up to the plate for me so it wasnt a complete loss.

Haha, no I shouldnt laugh. What you said is funny, Im not trying to rub it in lol. You know what the great part is though? That place is only an hour from my house and I live in downtown Denver.

I've had my bumper off for a while now cause Im re-painting it. Im really glad it was off though cause I wouldve destroyed it today. I did destroy my turn signal though but Im getting clears anyway.

that me, you hear talking about wheeling w/30" tires, lol and I came up with the "mini van" my 4rnr is more a "mini van" than a mall crawler, a mall crawler had big mud tires, bumpers, wich etc, I aint got any, lol

Glen's only been wheeling for 2 years!? :jaw drop: He's awesome, I figured he'd been wheeling for 10 years!
Ya but the Rubi and Glen's T4R have the ground clearance though and I was tired of beating the crap out of my runner. I think I'm deffinately gonna do some kind of lift.

yeah, thanks for clearing that up. Bottom line, given two equal driver and a tough obstacle, the Rubi will win every single time. Again, this is not against 4runners...i would say that same thing in a G-wagen forum.

BTW, Glen's 4runner is not exactly "open." If his 4runner is 2001, then it has ATRAC.
