I have seen pics of the 6th gen. It looks worse.... I am happy with the 2010 I got with only 15k miles on it. I am going to keep it as long as I kept my 1998.

I personally could care less about the front end on my '14. But to add to what [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] posted in that chart, they've seen double digit comps in sales since March of this year (I was one of the comps in July). I'd say anyone who "doesn't" like the new front end is in the minority. If Toyota is smart, they'll milk this new design until the comps level out again....and then change it. I'd think it'll be a few years.
For those without any background in retail sales: A double digit comp is an increase in sales of at least 10 percent from the same time period as the previous year. Double digit comps are a big deal. I don't know if Toyota is seeing these types of comps in their other models or not....but they are killing it with the 4Runner according to that chart.

One thing about the sales numbers. I sure see a a lot of 2014+ Limited editions driving around. I think there was a reason they kept the front end of the limited looking more traditional (although it is still a bit awkward).
Overall, the new look has grown on me a bit, but it still seems like something is missing or out of place. From a pure design perspective, nothing flows with it.
I would still buy one and thrown an aftermarket bumper on. At that point it looks fantastic. They did a great job getting rid of the rocker trim....
The real test of a design is how it looks over time, a refresh will often spark a love hate reaction, but there will be consensus in 20+ years.
