yep she's look'n good. Glad to read the 255/80/17 fit. Lookn for some FJ wheels and when found will likely go that rout. I was a little hesitant because my 265/70/17 rub a little with reverse in full turn crank. looks like 255 and FJ's should fix that. Who needs front mud flaps anyways right. 33's fill the wheel wells nicely. and nice to have that little extra clearance...

What's your detail routine and what kinds of products did you use?

Honestly these pics make the paint on both cars look far nicer than it really is. This was just a hand wash with a little bit of polishing on a couple small spots with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax Paste. I haven't had the time to do a full buff/polish on either car yet, but they both need it desperately!

Alright, guys... so after I got the lift installed we took it for a test drive. I locked it in 4-low and locked the center-diff, then we played around a bit. Didn't do anything wild and definitely didn't hurt anything... but when I disengaged the center diff and put it back in 4hi these lights stayed on and have been on ever since... what is the deal?

If the zero point cal does not clear the lights try checking the ABS wire an OHM meter. When I did my lift I had broken one of the wires which are very fragile. Replaced the broken wire and the lights went off.

Lost 1-2 mpg with lift and tires, but still getting 15.5-16.5 according to the on-dash mpg thing, and I re-set it every fill-up. Getting about 300 miles to a tank. Still pretty good mileage, IMO, and another good reason to go skinny on the tires!

Nice thing about this radio is that the faceplate is magnetic, so just pull it off and unplug it then you can take the faceplate with you when parking in sketchy areas!










Also got my rear diff beather extended!

Thanks! I don't notice much wind noise at all, as long as my sunroof is closed and it's cover is closed... Sadly, my sunroof is useless now because of all the wind when it's opened up, it's like a hurricane. lol I'm going to be building some sort of fairing to help with that though. To answer your question, the wind noise actually got better with the extension because it pushed the front of the rack forward of my sunroof, instead of it being in the middle of it!

Right now I am running a Browning NMO mag mount with a Comet SBB-1. Though, I am having an issue right now and I'm not sure what's going on, I think something broke internally on the Comet antenna, but I'll have to report back on that...

Thanks! I love the 255s, they are great! I am thinking about buying some wheel spacers though, to push them out a little bit and widen my stance.
