The time has come semi-retirement

Bought this sweet 02 sport with 45k some years ago and now at 155k as a daily driver. I'm going to get- yes a car- later this week. It's still Yota well Lexus LS460. Going to keep my girl and finally do some things I've always wanted to. First will be some rim treatment, either new ones or rubberized or powder coat existing ones black. Then probably a bumper with winch and roof rack. Changed all the bushings and shocks last year so no suspension mods till needed. Any other ideas let me know. I'll be using it for hunting, camping, snow days and hauling various trailers.

Looks great! I put mine into weekend duty when my commute to work got much longer back in 2006. I bought an 01 Corolla Sport. 32mpg! :bravo:
That's why I only have 158,000 on the runner. Otherwise I'd be over 300,000 by now.

If I were you I'd add Tundra TRD coils up front to hold up the weight of an aftermarket bumper.

That color is amazing! And the coke bottles...leaves me breathless!!

Very nice 4runner! First thing I would do is get some 265/75/16 tires in a more aggressive tread pattern. It's the biggest tire size that will fit on stock suspension without rubbing. That will be the biggest improvement you can make to the off road capability and they'll look good as well.

You may have changed your shocks but I can tell just by looking that you're riding on original springs. I suggest some new OEM 99' tall springs. Will help fix that wag sag as well as improve ride quality and off road ability. The aesthetic benefit is just a bonus!

Yes only at the dealer. They're not expensive. But they wont support the weight of an aftermarket bumper.
