Thinking about getting this water port and just taking two ratchet straps to tie it down to my gobi. Does anyone have experience with these? Good/bad reviews ect. Says it holds 3.3 gallons of water. Air pressure is used to pressurize so no electronics and can be mounted in multiple different ways. Seems like a winner.

I've been eyeing this too, however I want to mount underneith where the old spare tire was. Seems like a good product and an affordable price.
 
I want one of these as well. Seems like a great solution for weekend camping trips- 3.3 Gallon tank, states up to 10 showers. Probably just use it for rinsing dishes and/or muddy boots after hikes. I wonder if they would do a group buy?
 
I was thinking of making a small stainless tank for the spare tire area, but this may do better.

Guys. Take a clear 3-5 gallon water bag, 20 ft of hose and 50 ft of rope. When you get where you are camping throw the rope over a limb and hoist the water bag up. You will get water at around 10 psi and if it's a sunny day you will get warm water. No moving parts, cheap and dead reliable.
 
I think some 4" pvc and a hand full of fittings would net you the same results and likely for half the price

But then you're not overlanding anymore, just ghetto camping.
 
I have one and used it for a recent 9 day camping/mountain biking trip up into Canada. Was awesome for washing the mud off my bike and doing dishes at the camp site. Withstood 300+ miles off-road / 2,000 mi asphalt strapped to my Gobi. Great product for not a bad price.

Hydraulic head or piezometric head is a specific measurement of liquid pressure above a geodetic datum. It is usually measured as a liquid surface elevation, expressed in units of length, at the entrance (or bottom) of a piezometer.

this would be perfect for my kayak adventure to the ocean to wash down the kayak and gear at the end of the day

how would it mount in the rear underneath...i guess I'll have to take a look later this evening.

That is pretty cool! Thanks for the find. I assume you could somehow mount a durable plastic canister, possibly even a RotoPax somewhere under the cab out of the way of moving parts to suffice. I would opt for the roof rack, to aide in natural warming using the sun.

now you're going to have to explain geodetic datum to them... :laugh:

and just so we're clear make sure to specify NAVD27 or NAVD88.
 
Perhaps I am stuck on stupid today but I don't see anywhere on the website where they list the dimensions of the tank. Am I missing something?

Excellent product though!
