Thead locked?

Sorry if I offended or asked the wrong questions. I am a noob here. and am looking for a 4th gen 4runner. Thanks to those who responded. I am still trying to find one in the denver area and will attempt the search function here as not to bother anyone.

im not sure why you stated "thread locked?" or if you offended anybody. is it because you didnt recieve alot of answers? if thats why, dont feel that way, the v6 vs v8 is a hotly debated issue & guys are getting tired of it i guess. there are plenty of threads on that tho, so yes, you should check the search. oh, & welcome. ahh, i see, it was closed.

Welcome. Plenty of threads on the whole v6 vs v8 thing. Just do a search and you'll find all the +/- of buying one over the other.

Snowpilot, I went with the V8 and it's definately worth it. I spent about 6 months looking for 4th gen V8. I would check out Mercedez Benz of Littleton and Mecedez Benz of Westminster they had a few 4Runners that had been traded in. Amazingly enough, I found my through a yahoo auto search and ended finding a 2008 Limited V8 in Canon City at a Ford dealership, go figure. Good Luck with your search.

V6 vs V8 threads get locked. People will tell you to search but you can't search for two character words like V6 or V8.

But long story short just get the 8

With the new software you can. Even before, you could use a wildcard and find the terms.

Good to know. It was frustrating when I was shopping for my 4runner. You could find V6 v V8 threads but they all said "search" and I didn't know the trick to find them.
