I've always wanted to fish the gulf. The lakes here are fun, but nothing like the salt water!

Here is another picture. It's my dirty engine bay with the airaid MIT.

Mine looks nothing like my avatar now. I have new front and back bumpers, 2006 Tundra TRD Off Road 5 spokes and Cooper all terrains. I am just to lazy to update pics.

Couple pictures. Nothing too crazy. The white Isuzu showed up and parked next to me. I made my way down to the bottom of this section, which was very difficult, then came across one final obsticle I just couldn't do without getting some body damage or rolling, and neither was an option at the time, so I had to go back up everything in reverse which was fun. The Isuzu didn't even try lol.

The panoramic picture completely distorts this section, each drop is close to 2 feet, narrow, and not very forgiving. The way I went was on the darker section of rock which ended at a large hump on the left side. If I had sliders I would have tried it, but I don't yet so I'll save it for another day.

That is awesome terrain. We have nothing like that here in Houston; no rocks, just mud and dirt hills.

Looks like 3 feathers on the Chiva falls trail, no? When did you head out there? You should come by and check out the Sutherland trail out by my place sometime.

Hollis we're fortunate to have all sorts of terrain in this state, sand dunes, rocks, mud and dirt.

You nailed it Jason! We were out at Redington Pass. Set up a date and we'll go!

That sentence and that picture describes so much of what I do in my truck haha. Your truck is a beauty man! I'm jealous of the area too. I had a chance to go to Sedona on a trip once and ended up renting quads for a day. Damn do I wanna go back and bring my truck. I have family in show low...maybe I can make an extended detour.

Here is a sneak peak and low quality picture of some additions that will be added within the coming months. I'm not positive if I'll be using those red things anymore. Depends on how everything fits one it's all together.

I got the tires mounted to the wheels today and balanced. Haven't put them on yet though. I need some new lug nuts before these go on. Might throw them on next week.

Nothing is on yet. I have the control arms, wheels and tires sitting in the garage. I'll probably be selling the wheel spacers. They are brand new. Originally was going to use them with the new tires/wheels but I don't think I'll need them. I've been a little caught up with things, and today I found this!

Luckily I had these! Electric tape wrapped around the seal puller to help make sure nothing gets damaged

I'm sure most people know, but I would only use toyota axle seals when doing this job. The updated design helps a bit, and is much better than what I've used from autozone. This is the forth time I have done this. Three times for the right rear, which was was caused from two failed autozone seals, got fed up and put in a Toyota one, then the forth time for the left rear pictured.

Man love the rig, and every time I see the pizza cutters I kick myself in the arse!! I love them! I currently have 265/70/17 duratracs and they are fine but those 255/85/16 are where it's at, good call!

Need more fishing porn! I am living vicariously through you, miss largemouth bass so much!, we have them in Oregon but its different then down south.

So I know you love paddling, but what's your opinion on the pro fisher 14 from hobie cat? I'm kicking around the idea of getting one and throwing it on top??? All 140 pounds of it.

Anyways great rig man, maybe I feel a road trip brewing and might come a knocking looking for a fishing guide!!

I have never owned a Hobie but know a couple people with the Pro Fishers. They make good kayaks all around. The Pro Fishers are ridiculous. A little heavy loading up top by your self especially on a lifted rig. I think it would be hard to be more comfortable in anything else other than maybe an actual boat though.

A couple updates.

My air filter box had a crack in it behind the filter. Thanks to [MENTION=68342]djskorch[/MENTION] I got a new air box and was able to fix that. Changed the air filter while I was at it and cleaned the MAF.

I am debating on going against everything I have researched about lower control arm bushings. Instead of buying new arms with bushings I was thinking about going with some whiteline poly bushings.

The tread on my tires is getting a little low . Luckily I have that spare set waiting to be put on. I just need an alignment first which I have been putting off.

I purchased some Beck Arnley LBJs. When they arrived and I was not too happy with the quality, and from what I have read they are not the best choice. I know they source their parts, but I did not like these.

Sent them back, and will have some OEM Toyota LBJs tomorrow in the mail.

I also bit the bullet and will be trying some White Line polyurethane lower control arm bushings. I have a set of control arms I can play around with before taking my old ones off, so I figured what the heck.

That's a sweet setup you've got there! Yeah I know my 4runner is bone stock but I have a billion other projects that take up time and money, so my vehicles mostly stay factory-spec.

Here's a little flat-bottom boat I bought this past summer for fishing and waterfowl hunting. It's pretty bad ass. Weighs close to 100 pounds so not too bad to get it on the roof rack...

A question on your 'yak mounting. Are you just using pool noodles under the boat on the rails? I'm getting ready to fab a roof rack soon and I will need a part time solution for just taking a quick solo trip. I'm also building an expedition/kayak trailer for when I have to take a few boats, but need something in the mean time for just the truck. Thanks for your feedback.
