This Could Have Ended Badly - Radiator Fav

Hey ya'll - next time you decide to try and navigate deep water - this could happen to your radiator fan (along with all kinds of other problems):

Two tabs - broken off. One is cracked.

End results - new radiator fan clutch, new radiator fan, new radiator, and upper/lower radiator hoses.

Water in the engine compartment - BAD!

The good news - tires/wheels installed. Hi-Lift jack - installed.

Today - off-roading with some buddies from 'Off-Camber Crawlers' - VERY GOOD!

I carry a tarp in my truck box. If I ever get a hankering to try a crossing that deep, I'll bungy it across the grill and hopefully prevent what happened to you. If I crossed water like that frequently, I'd wire an electric fan with an off switch.

Do you have extended diff and tcase breathers? If not, now would be a great time to change your gear oil...

Working on it. Going to do some changes to make it easier to take off-and-on.
