I take it you've measured the inside to see if it fits? Not a bad idea for a poor mans camping trip.

39" wide versus the 44" of the wheel wells. Length *might* fit with the seat bottoms in place...but if not, the seat bottoms come out with 6 bolts and less than 5 minutes of your time with a socket wrench.

Trail Editions are flat with the seats down.

I have tried this with my parents aero bed twin. The width is perfect and fits between the wheel wells, but you will need to remove the seat bottoms for length.

Test Vehicle: 2010 Trail Edition w/ removed cargo stopper.

I had one of those in my 3rd gen., my wife and I drove to Myrtle Beach non-stop, took turns driving and sleeping. Won't do that again.
