you haven't seen them yet because they haven't been released yet. a pair sold on eBay last week, however. who knows where the seller got them.
7" width is an odd choice for TRD... big question mark hanging out there.

Could you elaborate on why 7" is an odd choice - I read the other thread you linked. Aren't the stock wheels on a trail 7" as well? Thanks in advance.

stock SR5 wheels are 7". stock Trail wheels are 7.5". most larger tires (285/70-17—~33"—for example) recommend a minimum 7.5" wheel width.
7" width "Pro" wheels makes no sense. awaiting more information about this as it becomes available.

Ahh. Thanks. Guess I will wait and see what happens with the TRD Pro. This is what happens when I have a slow day at work.
Nothing wrong with thinking out loud and with pictures.
Oddly I have been searching wheels, really been searching! And I did one day come across an aftermarket wheel resembling this pro wheel. My first thought was how similar it was to the trd pro wheel. Wish I could send you in that direction but it was not one for me to consider so I quickly forgot who made it. Will try to retrace some of my searches and post if I can recall.

I suppose I'll be in the minority, but I don't like them. They're too busy ... just way too many holes, and shapes and a b!tch to clean.
I like the look of the new TRD wheel int he dark grey, but the size (width) makes little sense to me. the "old" TRD rims are:

Uses 12mm TRD Spline-Drive Conical-Seat Lug Nut Kit (PTR27-89100) included for PPO, recommended and sold separately for DIO.
Not sure why they dropped half an inch in width.

Could it be that the edition that is retail is 17x7 but the wheels that come on the trd pro will be 17x7.5 or 8? I know that last video test I watched said that the wheel is for sale in liquid metal but this black version I specific to the trd pro 4runner...
I'd wait until some one gets a measuring tape on these wheels.

maybe you're onto something [MENTION=80480]keeganxt[/MENTION]. if you google PTR20-35110-BK (the purported part # for the black Pro wheel) it doesn't return any real results, whereas the graphite wheel PTR20-35110-GR does.
that said, i can't imagine why TRD would go to the trouble to produce two nearly identical rims in two different widths.
we'll find out in the next couple months anyway.
