Tint question

I live in a pretty congested area and it is not bad at all w/as dark as I went...I think it is up to the driver on how light or dark you go. I would make sure to check local LE before spending money only to have to take it off or pay a hefty fine..I am 30 and have no problem seeing at night.

I checked with the local Pd and I can not tint the front windows at all. No matter how many percent. However though, the back windows can be tint as much as I want.

So, I'm leaning towards the 5% or the 20%...

That is how I done mine and I am pleased.
5% on back 5 and sunroof and 20% on the front 2

I think it's almost time to make a sticky stating that 15% on the front 2 will match the rear windows that are dyed 20%. It is illegal in all states to tint a windshield unless you have a prescription. Mirror or any color tint is illegal. And it is completely subjective to where you live. No one is going to be able to tell you if you will or will not be pulled over for a certain amount of tint.

I have 5% over 5% all the way around and 35% on the front windshield. People ask why so dark? because that's what i want on my truck. It is all about what your comfortable with. If your incredibly indecisive then go get some static tint from advance auto parts and cut it your self and see what you think. It's about $16 a roll.

And finally the percents that tint comes in:

35% is the legal limit in most states(or technically 32%) and you can tell there is tint but can see straight through.

20% allows you to see a silhouette with facial features.

15% allows you to see a silhouette

5% is pretty much allows you to see nothing unless the sun or light is shining in the front.

Well, I went with 20% in all the back windows and I really like the look of it.
