Tiny amber light in headlight assy?

How do you go about replacing the tiny amber light bulb in the headlight assy on the driver side without removing the headlight assy? It twists and releases...but does not want to come forward out of the housing.

Thats strange it should just come right out. just like u stated twist pull n out it is.

It is hard to get to, but it just turns and comes out.

Driver's side is hard to do since the battery is in the way, but it comes out just like the passenger side. About a quarter turn and pull. If it's never come out before may have to gently rock it up and down once the tension is off of it to release the o-ring. Do the passenger side first so you won't get too frustrated with the driver's side.

Yep, these are a pain in the butt to get to, but they should just come out like a normal bulb. Twist and pull, then good luck finding the hole to put it back in. :guitar2:

My passenger side one of these is out. Going to pick up some Sylvania ultra whites and replace both of them. almost got all of my front lights upgraded to the ultra whites. Much better visibility at night and they look great.

If the bulb housing is loose but not pulling out, try turning it back 1/4 turn to the secure position, then turning a 1/4 turn the opposite way to loosen it. Mine came right out after turning it the other way

You can also pull the connector straight out and it will extend about a 1/2 inch or so to help you grip it better.
