I've used 4.5mm reinforced Diamond quick fit and never had a problem. They have the advantage of being easy install/removal. They are also available with ONORM rating (supposed to be the toughest spec in the world). Pricey but to me, worth the extra $$$. Tire Chains by TireChains.com

Nothing wrong with Blizzaks. I'd probably go for a set of Blizzak DM-V1's if they came in a studded version.

I have had Blizzaks on all my vehicles for the winters here in CT and they are a great tire. I have Blizzaks on my 3rd Gen and the trucks a beast in the snow.

I only have experience with the old "chisel tooth" type..that you could climb Everest with...but the newer Thules are awesome...my hero Brad uses them...

and if Brad said it..I believe it..and that's final.....
