Tire Pressure Sensor Help

Will someone please help me. I have a 2004 4-Runner and I have the Plantinum Warranty. I am getting shafted by a dealer I took it to for the VSC lights that had been on for over a week. I also had the air pressure light on but told them I believed the spare tire was probably low and that is why the light was on. My concern was the vsc lights. When all was said and done they tried telling me on the phone the vsc lights weren't on and I told them you better check it again because when I dropped it off they were on and have been on for a week. When I got there of course they said the lights were on and they recalabrated them. Huh? They just don't go off. And that is why I brought it in. Instead they messed with the tires and I believe broke the air sensor in one of my tires and replaced it with the one from the spare tire. Then are telling me it is my fault because I do not have toyota stem caps on my tires. I told them that is riduclous and further more an oil change place forgot to put my toyotal stem caps back on and lost them when I realized they were missing. They bought stem caps for me and have been on those tires well over a year. The tires have been rotated several times since then and no one had the problem.

They are refusing to replace my air sensor free of charge and will not admit they broke it.

I called corporate they gave me a case # emailed the dealer and the guy still said no they are not going to replace it for free. I told him I was calling corporate back and he said go ahead they do not get involved. It is up to the dealer and we are not doing it for free, you have the wrong stem caps. I said where does it tell me that? He said it doesn't but that is why it broke.

They should be able to tell if you have TPMS by the stem and the year of your truck. The stem cap is just an excuse. Talk to Toyota and give the general manger a call.
