Tire Pressure Transducers

I've got a 2006 4R with the 20" wheels. The system let's me know when a tire is low on pressure. I assume it has pressure transponders in each wheel.

I was interested chamging wheels. However, I was wondering if these transponders are transferrable to my new wheels, or do I live with the pressure idiot light on the dash? Any thoughts?

What wheels are you looking at? For the most part you should be able to transfer them to a new set of wheels with no problems. The issue is how far they will stick out, IIRC Aluminum Wheel TPMS units are at 30 degrees and the steel wheels are 20 degrees. If they stick out too far they risk getting broken when tires are changed or too low.
