I've always been partial to white letters out. But thats because most of my vehicles have been white, and I think it matches a bit better. Lets see a picture of the whole 4Runner, not just the tires.

for those tires, white letters in...

IMO, BFGoodrich All-Terrain and Mud-Terrain tires on a lifted Limited or Sport 4th Gen T4R should have the white letters OUT. specific tastes, huh?

In, I think out looks cheap, especially after the first time you drag them on the curb and it scrapes some of the white off....
