I just placed my order on some Fiberwerx fenders! They should be ready in early July. Any recommendations on paint? Here is what I was thinking of using:

Did you decide your paint scheme with you unpainted trim? If I were you I would just fit the fenders yourself and have a pro paint them. I just did mine to hold me over till I make rear fenders and get the whole truck repainted or dipped. I haven't decided yet.

Nope. I have not yet figured out what I am going to do. I will probably get them done by a shop, but hope the price isn't too steep.

Gobi Ladder

So I got my Gobi Ladder installed this weekend. It is super convenient to getting things on and off my roof from the rear, especially because with the body lift, my rear bumper is at a slant.

Front - 45.5"

Those of you running reverse/rear lights, where was your point of entry to keep the wires hidden? I think I am going to pop my interior door sills and run the wiring under there, but before that point (cargo area), where would be the best place to run it? I will post some more pics when I get around to wiring them, but here is what they look like for now.

I drilled a hole through the roof on the driver side rear, under the roof rack end cap. I only have 2x 18w's, so a thin wire was plenty (I think 14ga). Used a liberal amount of silicone and I have not had a leak in the ~2 years since installation.

New Hatch Struts

After adding my Gobi Ladder, the hatch just didn't open up like it used to. It was much slower and didn't open up completely without some assistance. So I bought and installed these StrongArm (part #: 6107) hatch struts. Let me just say, "wow!" Night and day. Opens up like it's supposed to and opens completely without any help! Plus it was a super easy install.

Satoshi & 03-> 06 Headlight Upgrade

So I have officially started my Satoshi grille and here is the first piece of the puzzle. The Emblem::usa2:

Here you have some "Raptor Style" lettering wrapped in the beautiful colors of Red, White, and Blue!

I also picked up these beauties yesterday. I hope to get these installed in the next few days, as they will sexify my T4R!

nice thanks. looking at a set of 18x9 fuels (buddy works there) for a smoking deal. -1 offset. looks like it will clear he inside fine but sit about 50mm (2") further out. ive only got about a 3/2 f/r lift, plan to run a 265/70. not sure i want to go that aggressive.

might be better off with a 17x8 with a -10 or so offset..

Fenders & Exhaust

So I installed these on Friday. It really takes a lot of measuring and massaging to get these to fit nicely, but I am happy with the end result. Now I just have to get them painted. I am sure I will get annoyed with the white within a week or so...




I also had some air escaping between my header and Y-Pipe, so I installed some Remflex 6005 exhaust gaskets. They sealed it up and no more leak! I had an issue with one of the nuts that stripped, but had some good ones left over from removing my bumper...good as new!



After I installed my gaskets, I wanted to see what the exhaust would sound like if I removed it (running just header + crossover pipe + Y-Pipe) and holy hell! It sounds fierce! My neighbor came out side and thought that it was the supercharged Camaro, haha! I will try and get a sound clip loaded up later.




Lastly, I think I forgot to post when I did it, but I added a second pair of pods. I made my own plug with pigtail and spliced them into my other pods that turn on with my fog lights.

lol i also drive a 300 wheel hp evo 9 with ohlins and a ninja 1000 with 150 at the tire.
