Too much weed in Colorado? $57k for TEP

I thought we had it bad in CA paying above sticker for TRD Pro...in Colorado they are charging nearly $60k for a Trail??? Just by throwing on the TRD Pro lift, skid, tires and a badge??

Bought a 2016 Limited new back then and got on this forum. Traded it in and left the site. Now I'm about a week away from picking up a Venture for MSRP, which is reasonable since I'm trading in my 2019 Subaru Ascent Touring for about $4,000 over KBB value with auction prices through the roof. I'm money ahead. But the point of this post is going prices for 4Runners and I'm in the PNW. I looked at every dealer from top of WA state to Portland and then over to Idaho border and finally found a dealer with an incoming Venture selling at MSRP. Most I found had vehicles on their site that are coming in but reserved and surprisingly this one was not. Seattle was the best pricing and selling any incoming at $500 below MSRP. Have to give a shout out to Eric Burk at Seattle Toyota if anyone wants to take advantage of that under MSRP deal ask for him just because he was friendly even after I said I found one elsewhere.

Yeah... people are really stoned! It's time to get used to it, though, I think. All we get for free is breathing! We pay for everything we can. It seems to me that even a person who has a cannabis business and has connections with parsl.co that save money would only make a month's worth of their business for what you listed. I am originally from PA, and is funny now that Rolling Rock and Yuengling are so darn popular all across the country! The guys who made that stuff probably had no idea it would get so popular, their highest hopes were probably to sell it to all the sports crazed fans in Pittsburgh. They say its a drinking town with a sports problem hah.

If you are from PA, shouldn't you know that Yuengling was founded in 1829? Some serious foresight to invent something 50 years before it's "market" would exist.

Damn, 60 grand is too much! Colorado is certainly an expensive city, but there must be a limit to everything. It doesn't matter that a lot of people come here. It doesn't mean that they are all millionaires. This damn car is not bad, but it is definitely not worth 60 grand. With this money, you can buy a much better car. Hell, they all really smoke weed there. I become more fit when I smoke weed or chew my CBD gummies from THC-O Edibles wholesale. It works well for me. All my psychos go away. However, these people apparently do not work very well. Such maniacs! I never liked this city, and now I hardly go there.

Can’t believe none of the Colorado people here have mentioned our running inside joke, the “Toyota Tax” which is unique to a few states but especially CO. Markup of 4-5k and more is normal here. Some looneys used to think their special trd pro colors were worth 10-20k over msrp.

We have crazy demand for Toyotas and as such we all pay the price, regardless of supply. Too many outdoor / off-road enthusiasts and covid only boosted those numbers. It’s so bad we take turns roasting each others sales posts in Facebook groups and on marketplace.

There is a used car dealership that specializes in modified Toyotas near me. The website doesn’t do it justice they probably have 30-40 lightly to heavily modified Toyotas at anytime lined up for sale. Prices are what they are and even still I’ve had two good friends buy from them.

I think a lot of people here buy the into the dream of thinking they will camp and overland and pursue their hobbies and then reality takes over and it sits in the garage.

I personally purchased my 2015 SR5 in 2016 from Carmax. At that time they were importing any 4WD into CO from any of their other dealerships at no cost and with no obligation to buy it. They would have held it for 24 hours after I test drove it before they released it to the public but I had already closed on it.

And no we don’t wave to other Toyotas until we get on the trails. There’s simply too many of us and we would all be arthritic.

I had to do some digging when I was in the UK last year and wanted some CBD stuff. There are a few decent shops around London, and I also found that some health food stores carry CBD oils and gummies. Online is probably your best shot though, especially with CBD isolate if that's what you're after.

Here in North York though, it's been way easier to find good stuff. I usually stick with North York Weed Delivery since they’re fast and have a solid range of edibles and oils.
