Towns / Areas with a lot of Runners

Granted, I haven't travelled a lot since I bought my 4Runner last July but, dayum - New Mexico has a ton of them! My wife and I recently went to Santa Fe on a little get away and I couldn't get over how many Runners of all generations I saw. They were like ants. At one point we pulled into Trader Joes and there were five just in my aisle. Being in Southern California, I just don't see many. In fact, I think it's safe to say that So. Cal. is heavy on Rubicon's.

Anyone else see more 4Runners concentrated in regions?

just spent the last 3 weeks in Nicaragua

While on vacation, I noticed lots of 4runners here in Nicaragua. Most are 3rd gen 3L diesels all 5 spd that I saw, a few classic and 2nd Gen, with a few 4th and 5th gen gas. Also, there's lots of Hilux trucks here as well. The most plentiful vehicles were Toyota followed by Hyundai.

There's a lot in the Reno/Tahoe area, but there's still way more Jeeps. I've also noticed that in the last 12 months I've started see way more 5th Gens that the first 12 months I owned the truck. I see a good amount of TRDP's too.

There are a ton around the Dayton area as well. They are great for our winters but our winters are horrible on them.

Yes, there are quite a few 4runners in NM, especially in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas. I'm in a much smaller town so there's not as many but still there are 4 just on my road. Every time I go Denver I see a bunch as well.

The one place I don't see very many is in northern ND.

Agreed. It's mainly Jeep country in Southern West Virginia, but with the recent snow we've had I've seen all kinds of 4runners out on the roads. I've pulled out three Jeeps since Friday :tea:

I'm in Seattle. Pretty sure everything that isn't a car or lifted domestic pickup covered in energy drink decals is a Toyota. So many runners and tacos in this city and they're in such great condition.

I see a pretty decent amount in Northern VA. Mostly 4th and 5th gens., and not too much of an off road community so stockers, but clean.

My wife and I try to get down to St Simons Island (GA) as often as possible. Always see a ton of them down there, but they're from all over the states.

I live across the water from Seattle, and I see 4Runners all the time. A lot of third gens, mostly driven by older folks. Most people with an interest in vehicles around the area just care about Subies.

Mass amounts of Toyota 4x4's in Colorado Springs. Everytime I go out, which is several times a day, I see at least one or two built rigs. Cant really keep track of how many stock 4x4's there are probably 1 in 10
