Does anyone use this tire on their 5th Gen? How's the performance? Is it loud? How many miles are you getting out of them? Anyone know how well they do in mud?
They have stellar reviews all across the board. They look great and have a nice tread pattern.
I have them on my Jeep in a 35" and love them. The expression you get what you pay for comes to mind when talking about these tires. They are quiet on the road, real quiet, have a long tread life and are incredible off-road.
I know you wanted info for these on a 4Runner but I doubt you'll find many people besides the guy in this thread running them: Finally! Got my tint, Toyo M/T's, and AR Mojaves installed on TE!

For whatever its worth I have never ran them, but have friends who have and they absolutely love the tires. I have ridden in trucks with them and they are quiet for a mud tire and ride good.
I had the Nitto Trail Grapplers on 1st and they were great tires. I just recently installed a set of BFG MT KM2's and love them. I like them better than the Nitto's. I think they ride better, but that is just personal opinion.
You cant really cant go wrong with Toyo MT, Nitto Trail, BFG KM2, Goodyear MTR, or the Goodyear Duratrac. People on this forum rave about that Duratrac, its supposed to be one hell of a tire.

Tire compound is tough.....but then again, you get yourself on something sharp and regardless what tire you run, it's gonna slice it. I had 6 ply side Pirelli Jones that cut, so it's just bad luck sometimes.
As for the rain, they are great compared to the old style Goodyear MT/R's (I nearly killed myself in my old Jeep fishtailing).
