Toyota oem crankshaft seal made in china now???

So I was all set to do a timing belt kit job and all the seals.... car is at 290k miles so far and running good.. So I got the seals from local toyota dealer both camshaft and crankshaft seals..... camshaft seal is in bag with toyota ## but no origin made country, but has NOK, which I understand is Japanese... and am ok with the camshaft seals

But the crankshaft has KOYO marking was in bag and has labled Made in China...??? lol

But I am bit hesistant on putting in a China toyota KOYO seal in....I didn't know toyota parts were now made in China....

or should I leave the old seals which is at 290k miles alone if they are not leaking...or put new seals in...??

so what makes this different then the rock auto and amazon chinese parts which are cheaper.... Why should I pay Toyota prices for made in china parts???

Anybody find any crankshaft seals that are not made in China or better part quality brand...and where they at??

From what I've read recently, the Toyota Chinese parts have to meet Toyota's rigid standards, whereas aftermarket Chinese parts do not.

If you bought it from a reliable source I wouldn't worry. They likely shipped the factory tooling from Japan to China to manufacture them more affordably and open up manufacturing capacity to higher volume applications. This reduces cost to us, which is important in case some morons decide to place tariffs on auto parts. Toyota is getting pretty big in the legacy parts manufacturing as of recently, you may now find most of your wiring and connector parts coming from Vietnam because Yazaki is investing heavily there in legacy parts manufacturing.
