Toyota Tire Deals

Hey guys i thought i would share the news! I recently was at Toyota in Easley South Carolina getting my 25k mile service and my service attendant shocked with me some great news! He informed me that during the month of April they are doing buy 3 tires get the 4th for $. All said and done I walked out ordering a brand new set of 255/80r17 BFG KM2's for $877.20. Im pretty sure that this price includes the mounting and balancing as well!

Im not sure if all Toyotas are doing this deal but it was hard to beat seeing the local 4x4 shop quoted me over $1100. I was on the fence with buying new tires until Wednesday

I wouldn't be surprised if you pay another couple hundred for mount ballance and disposal. My local dealer requires an alignment to get free rotations. Always shop around.
 
Toyota wants you in the building. They offer competitive prices on tires to do this. You can take advantage if you play it smart.
Get ready for a hard sell on alignment, brakes, etc.
Here's the view from my Costco parking lot. Those banners ain't cheap.

25K seems pretty low mileage to need new tires...I have just over 60K on my 2012 Limited and am just now getting ready to replace the original tires.

The Toyota dealer in the Dallas area is offering the buy three get one for free deal... I got a quote a few days ago and they charge tax on the full price of the "free" tire, plus the state disposal fee, etc. The total OTD price for four new tires installed, mounted and balanced was $735. Have checked numerous online sites (tire rack, tirebuyer, etc) and no one offers buy three get one free, so this is the best deal I've seen...I plan on getting them installed next week.

So yes, it seems most Toyota dealers have the same offer.
 
Need and want 255/80r17 BFG KM2s are two completely different verbs. I doubt at 25,000 miles Travis needed tires, he wants them. Great price for those tires.
 
I was getting regular maintenance this morning at my Toyota dealer and they are running the same deal. I asked how often they ran the promotion and was told Spring and Fall. For future reference I requested pricing on the tires available for my 15 LE. The price with mount and balance was cheaper than my Discount Tire store I normally use. Discount Tire will match any price but I was surprised the dealer pricing was that competitive.

The 4 tires they have for my 4R are:
Michelin Premier LTX
Yokohama Geolandar
Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684
Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza
 
Great deal except most place charge about $235 per tire for KO2's (285/70/17) and the Toyota folks want $316 for the EXACT tire. Big O indicated that they have some deals coming up in May and I would bet others do too. The discount season is upon us so I will wait to see what comes up.

I was at Butler Toyota in Macon Ga yesterday getting first oil change and heard the service writer (Jerry) quoting tire prices over the phone. Buy three get one free deal. Included free rotation and road hazard warranty. I do not remember what the price to mount them. I am pretty sure what he said but do not hold me to it.

You can go here to find your tires and see what they charge. After you break down the line items its not a bad deal at all. This make my previous post pretty wrong. Yes they charge more for the tires but after you factor in everything its a good deal. I may actually jump on it.

I replaced my stock tires at ~25k miles and they were down to 3/32nd', so I find that believable. I inquired about this deal last year at my local Toyota dealership, and they told me it was good on any tire they can get but it has to be stock size. That was a no go for me. Interesting that other dealers seem to be ok with other sizes.

I replaced my stock tires at 5k miles on my 2016 TE. Think I should have waited longer? The local Discount Tire told me they were in need of replacement.
 
Here in CO at the dealer closest to me, they only had one A/T tire available on this promotion--the Wrangler. Good selection on the H/T, though.
