Toyota Tundra debuts Friday night in Craftsman Truck Series....

I know this is a 4Runner page but our back-less brothers will be making their big debut Friday night in the Craftsman Truck Series at Daytona. I have been watching the practice sessions this morning on SPEED and they seem to be doing pretty good in their times. The best part about this, at least to me, is all the people that are pissed Toyota is getting involved this year in trucks and next year in NEXTEL Cup. If you get a chance tune in and cheer them on. dont know much about nascar, but i'd be interested in reading on the feelings of competitors and specators alike..

Here are a couple of articles. Pretty much, Toyota's precence in the series and coming to the NEXTEL Cup Series next year, has all the other manufacturers scared because of Toyotas success in other racing series. This is why Pontiac was pulled from the NEXTEL Cup so GM could pool their resources into Chevy. They are having qualifying right now on SPEED for the race.

Well, their first time out to qualify for a NASCAR event and Toyota will starting on on the second row in third place. All 7 Toyotas will be starting within the top 16. Go TRD!!
