Trading 07 for 2013

Thinking about trading my 2007 Shadow Mica SR5 for a 2013. Love my Shadow Mica color and am not crazy about 2013 colors. Thinking about Pearl White. Any suggestions or opinions as to doing a deal or keeping the 2007. Nothing wrong with the 2007 85K miles. Sunroof rattle gets to me sometimes. Just in the mood for a change.

I would keep the '07 until the (possible) mid cycle refresh. However, I do like my 5th gen a lot more than my 4th. I didn't care for the styling on it nearly as much as the 5th gen.

If you're happy with the '07, don't care for the colors of the 5th gen, and have paid off your '07, then save yourself $600 or more per month and keep the truck you're already happy with.

As to color, I've owned a whole lotta cars in my (long) life, and this BP is my favorite by far. Sooooooo easy to care for, and has to be really dirty to look bad. Looks really good at night when polished up real nice.

Too bad the TE can't be had thataway - that Stormtrooper look is badazz.

Hard to advise you otherwise - we all recognize that "Itch".

The trucks just broken in. I would keep it for awhile longer if all is well. If it starts nickel & diming you to death then sell it. I have white cars and I love the pearl white still.

I was in a similar situation. My 07 was totaled and I was looking for either a TE or another V8 SE. I ended up snapping up a 08 that was just listed and is actually in better shape than my old one was. No regrets, it is like I never skipped a beat and I saved a good deal of money going the route that I did. See if you can take it on an extended test drive for a day or so, I did that when I got my first one in 2006 and it may sell you on a 5th gen or make you keep the 4th gen.
