one thing i really like that the trail doesn't have is the auto climate control.. i've gotten use to it and just love it.. any way to swap it over.. i'm never not thinking about trading my limited for a trail
Agreed. I came from a Lexus IS and I miss the climate control and auto headlights.

Better spend some time on the Jeep Forum before you do that. They have........issues.

I was the same way, but after driving two Grand Cherokees 10 years and almost half a million miles, I decided to try something different.
I loved my Jeeps, first was a 2000 Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 4.7 and quadra-drive, that I put 280k miles on. The second was a 2004 Overland that I put 218k miles on.
Both had the full time 4 wheel drive called Quadra Drive, it works great, but there is some maintenance involved. Since it is all wheel drive, the front differential and drive shaft turn all the time. The transfer case takes a special fluid that is only available at the dealer (just like the T4R) and the veri-lock diffs take friction modifier. The diffs and transfer case must be serviced at least every 30k miles. (I did mine every 25k)
The new WK2 Grand's system is a little different, but I am sure it still takes the same amount of attention. Don't get me wrong it is a good system, just not always trouble free.
My main problem with the 4x4 system was front differentials, the 2000 only rebuilt twice in 280k but the 2004 was three times by 140k and was getting noisy again at 218k when I traded it for the TE.
Most of the problems with the Jeeps were with the electric goodies, like power adjustable pedals, rain sense wipers, tire pressure monitors, power windows and power door locks.
And of course the automatic HVAC on the Overland was awful, (blend doors break) so you freeze in the winter. I am sure the new ones are better now.
The engine and transmission were excellent and other than the PCM failing and an exhaust manifold bolt breaking, I never had any problems with them.
If I would have bought a new WK2, I would have had to have the 5.7 engine that has 16 spark plugs that need to be changed every 30k miles. I hate bending over the engine to change spark plugs and at 30k miles I would need to do them every 9 months or so. That, and the rear independent suspension were my biggest reasons for not buying another one.
