I just bought these rock rails/sliders for my 2000 Toyota 4Runner last week. Unfortunately an unexpected expense showed up, so now I have to sell them. They are designed specifically in length for any Toyota 4Runner or Short Bed Tacoma, but there shouldn't be any problem installing these (bolt on or weld on) to a different vehicle.

These are 58" long and are made from 1 3/4" X .120 round 1035 DOM tubing. Legs can be be cut to length to allow for different mounting positions. Heavy duty design can take a pounding from the rocks while keeping body damage to a minimum. Strong enough to take the entire weight of the truck. A high-lift jack can be used anywhere along it's length for repositioning of rig or axle servicing. Bars come with the outer section welded but the legs are not attached. Legs are pre-notched and can be be cut to length to allow for different mounting positions. Also includes mounting plates and gussets for additional strength. These allow for a bolt on, or weld on installation and are made from 3/16" plate steel.

Brand new, never installed, unpainted. I paid $154 plus tax and shipping.

Santa Barbara. I considered building my own as well, but the price on these seemed to be a wash with spending the time and buying materials to do so. I am very pleased with the craftsmanship on these.
