Tranny temps

For those of you who monitor your tranny temps what temps are you guys running? I tried to pay attention to my tranny temps before I did my fluid this weekend but didn't get solid numbers. But I recall it being about 150F or about 100F over intake air temp.

But today was my first solid commute and ambient t temp is 75, intake temp is 80 to 90F but my tranny temps are getting up to 200-210. Is that normal?

I know I am being over analytical but I can't help it. Also I found that in good air running with good speak and minimal load it will drop to 180ish. But when I stop or get on the gas it'll jump to 200-210. Anyone 2ant to discuss?

i think if the a/c is turned on, the fluid gets cooler, atleast what i see on the scan gauge and my v6. no a/c on and my temp got 195-205, then when the a/c kicks in, the temp drops back down to 170s if i remember.

Yeah I guess I need to learn to use search more. I got impatient t and found a thread that said 200 degree temps are normal. Just glad it's finally done.

But it is pretty crazy that the tranny fluid will fluctuate up to 30 degrees difference in a matter of minutes.
