So I finished installing my milkshake prevention kit last night and when I installed the upper part of the filler tube into the lower everything looked good. I then attached it to the engine block and upon further inspection discovered that it had come undone at the joint about 3/4 of an inch. As long as it's connected to the block it stays this way.
Anybody got any snazzy ideas on how to keep it joined together? It was fine before I did all of the work on it so I don't know why it's being a knucklehead now. The metal bracket that attaches it to the block is too stiff and doesn't flex.
