TRD exhaust fitment question

So I picked up this TRD exhaust off of a guy on Craigslist for really cheap. It is suppose to be for a 95-97 Tacoma/4runner 2WD 4cyl. I look underneath my 4runner and the piping looks to be the same. All of the mounting locations for the hangers are the same. The obvious difference that I see is the length of the pipe from the muffler to the cat. Now wondering if anyone has done this or might know if the piping it self would work and I just need to modify it to fit.

mine doesnt have a tip like that, and mine I got off a dealer.

Is there a piece missing? The rear tailpipe section points basically straight down, what is that supposed to connect to? Almost like an "L" pipe is missing.

Btw the Tacoma uses a different exhaust than the 4Runner, and that appears to be a 2WD X-cab (given the length) so I wouldn't say it fits both.

On mine that piece that looks like it is missing is bent to fit up the to muffler. I imagine it's just the angle making it look that that.


My tip is also different. I have the rear exit (earlier model) while [MENTION=74071]Brilliant[/MENTION] has the side exit (later model)

OP, The great thing about an exhaust is that pretty much anything can be made to fit. I'd mock it up myself and see if it fits. If it doesn't, an exhaust shop (or you, if you can weld) can make it fit.
