Trd pro lift question

Yeah i prefer the wider stance as well...so now im debating whether to get pizza cutters and keep the stock wheels or go aftermarket with 285s

Just ordered the ToyTec 1 inch spacer. Going to pair with some icon 2 inch springs i have. should hold me over until i finally get a front bumper.

So you just used the toy tech for the front and the Dobinsons in the rear instead of the super flex?

CV angles are fine with the TRD Toytec lift.

It took 2 days but I've got through all 57 pages thus far LOL.


For those that wanted to know - you can purchase a "speed healer" to correct any chances made to your drivetrain that would adjust your speedometer reading.

Just to re-iterate, there are some folks here that have confirmed 285s actually read true to speed.

I never had any rubbing on 285/70/R17 w/the Toytec kit...the only concern I had at the time on 285/70 was the rim width on TRP rims but for me no worries at all in my experience and many others ...it's a nice stance

[MENTION=148378]Dobinsons Mike[/MENTION] is in the works of determining what different coils can be used with the stock TRD struts. Giving desired lift, without having to sacrifice the entire suspension you paid for. Just another option.

I'd be interested in learning more about this potential solution.

For those the installed the toytec lift and are not using them anymore I'd like to buy your used one.

1" Front Lift for BAJA TRD Tacoma's, TRD Pro Edition Tacoma and 4Runner Installed.

I had these installed today and it yielded more than an inch showing now a little rear rake. Will measure after aliagnment. How did these spacers affect your headlight aim!
