Trd pro lift question

my toytec 2" lift kit with wheeler t13 rear spring. pretty even.

Thanks for the pic. I have the exact set up setting in the boxes. I was hoping for a level stance and after looking at yours it looks like it's on the money. Now I have to save up aliittle more cash for the bigger tires. BTW nice color, just picked up mine.

My understanding is that leveling a PRO will not allow the Crawl Control to work properly.

Can someone confirm this?

hmmm i dont remember reading that but hopefully mike @ Dobinsons can confirm regarding their new front leveling springs for the pro

I haven't heard anything about the drive systems being affected by lift. People are putting 6112's into non Pro models at 2.5" of lift and not saying anything about issues with crawl control.

How much does the ToyTec TRD Pro Lift affect the ride quality? Right now, I love the way my Pro rides as it is very cushy. Does it stiffen up slightly or very noticeably?

This looks like perfection! I'm waiting for my '17 TRDP to be delivered and ordering same setup. Did you request SAW 1.5 springs with ToyTec lift kit?

Very torn between getting this lift, or waiting a while to go to a full King setup.

I want to get rid of my stock Nittos before they wear too much. Want to get into 33's. Already ordered my Stealth Ray10s to mount. Does the lift really give a full 2" to go along with the 1" from factory?

No on the SAWS and I've ditch the kit and installed King coilovers/JBA UCAs. Should have went that route the first time. Buy once cry once.

Just a overall better setup. Toytec is just a spacer.

Why did you make the switch to kings? Are the kings more stiff on the road and noisier?

I have a 6" lift and the Crawl Control works the same way it did before the lift.

The lift will stiffin it up slightly, the heavier tires will contribute some too.

Have a 2017 Barcelona TRD PRO. Went with 275 KO2 and the SPidertrax 1.25 and had quite a bit of rubbing. used the heat gun and shaved the fender and still have some slight wheel well rub. There was no rub without the spacers.

I'm going to add the SSO Slimline along with a winch. Prob looking at total of 150lbs added to the nose. I may need to do some suspension adjusting due to the added wt, and wondering if I should just scrap the TRD suspension for an ICON set up. Or if I could go with this lift.

Anyone use the toytec 2" lift and add a bumber and winch? I don't do hardcore offroading. But am out alone in the winter and offroad as well as on the beach a lot.

I installed the Toytec TRD Pro lift way back in November of 2015, and had no issues with it at all, as far as performance/issues ect.

One thing that always bothered me just a little, was the almost 2 inch front rake. I liked where the rear stood, but always wished the front was a little higher.

I just recently replaced the Toytec kit with the Icon Stage 2 kit, and I love having the ability to adjust the front coilovers.

Along with better on-road/off-road performance, I was able to get the rake where I wanted it. From almost 2 inches, down to about .75....

The rear measures about the same heighth as the Toytec kit, but I was able to bump up the front height a little over an inch from where it was before, to get it leveled out.

Here are some pics for comparison:
1. Stock w/ stock 265 Nittos
2. Toytec Kit w/ 275 K02's
3. Icon w/ 285 K02's

This is a very clean vehicle! Awesome build. How are the 285s on the road? Any regrets? The wheel spacers definitely give it a great look. I was debating between 275 BFG k02s and 285 Nitto Grapplers

I'm running the Toytec spacers/springs on my '16 TRD Pro, along with a warn VR8000s on a Pelfreybilt hidden winch plate, and have had no excessive dive on the front end.

Figured with the loss of the factory cross member and the synthetic line, the total weight on the front end only increased by 60 lbs. or so....
