It looks like you receive the complete sets of coilovers (coil & strut or shock assembled) and rear shocks w/ reservoirs, I assume, you also receive the brackets for the reservoirs.

There are posts that indicate the part # for the individual parts, if I read them correctly.

Those part numbers refer to the tacoma baja suspension. If you order those part numbers that is what you will get. I would expect the 4Runner parts to be different.

Have the FJ trail teams ultimate edition (is that the best you could come up with toyota marketing???) suspension part numbers become available yet?

If you look closely at the pictures posted from the final assembly plant, the part number for the spring is PTR13-89150 and then the corresponding location, RF, LF etc. You can deduce the kit part number too, if they even offer one. Hopefully they will!

1.5 inches of extra suspension down travel and OEM engineering would be worth the expense for some.

Sorry, I meant 1" greater down travel, meaning more suspension travel from longer shock stroke. I was not referring to height. Not nit picking...this is likely the most functional aspect of the Pro suspension.

JM4Runner works at one of the ports where the TRD Pros get their final upgrades.

Looks like they are the individual replacement parts opposed to the entire kit. To the best of my knowledge, the Baja Tacoma and the TRD Pro suspension for the Taco and 4Runner are the same. Can confirm monday, but pretty positive.

I know from pictures, the TRD Pro Suspension Kit - PTR13-89150
the coils indicate PTR13-89150-AA (on one picture) installed on a strut PRT13-89150 LF.

That's what people are seeing on the Kit pictures and now the above part #'s are in question whether they will fit. Some are saying these part #'s were gleened from the prototype TRD Pro 4Runners in testing.

Again, I will wait on your reply, as the dealerships can offer me no help!

Ok so the TRD Pro suspension and Baja are the same, but as an entire kit for the port installs the part number changes compared to individual replacements. I have a feeling that the pictures floating around causing so many questions is because Toyota created monsters during testing. This is just a belief and not factual knowledge obtained, but because we see some initial pictures with sunroofs, and KDSS, I think Toyota just used TEP models with and without KDSS, but had the paint color changed for Pro specs. Once tested and all was said and done, they determined no Sunroof and no KDSS for the final build. As for the suspension, they had a tested and proven suspension from the Baja and used that. Hope this helps.

The part verification is the only factual information. The rest I really just deduced. Makes sense to just paint a vehicle a different color and change the front end, then proceed with the full build once tested. I don't mind though as long as that's clarified lol.

Plasti Dip TRD Skid

Ok, I made a change to the TRD Skid plate & I like this better.
I PlastiDipped my plate with black.

Finally had time to install my skid plate.
Upon first trying to install the skid, I found there was some abnormal resistance while tightening the front passenger side bolt on the skid.
To avoid a bad issue, I went to my local hardware store and picked up 2 items.
M10 X 1.25 bottom tap and a M10 X 1.25 hex die to chase all bolt holes and chase the threads on the bolts to make sure I would have no issues....
Put a small amount of never seize on the bolts and all went well.

Instead of discarding the front plastic trim piece, I decided to cut/trim it so it would fill the gap left between the bumper cover and the new skid plate.
Worked like a charm!

No @slyangel. I don't. the only one I have is pictured, if that is what you are asking.

Otherwise, there are pictures on the net of the TRD Pro 4Runner that shows the gap.
Or maybe someone can snap a pic for you with out the filler piece.
You have to remove it and the oem skid first anyway, install the TRD skid and look at it. I leaves gap in the front that was covered initially.
IMHO, for T4R owners wanting to install the TRD skid , Toyota could have included a template to cut down this piece and re-install.
I just installed the skid, placing the cover and marking to get a estimate of where to cut.
You may be able to make a cut template out of cardboard to get your pattern.
Either war, you will have to trim a couple of times to get it right, just don't get in a hurry, utility knives are sharp! (No, I didn't get in a hurry or cut myself!!!)

I was fortunate to get my fit as close as it is. It's as close as it looks in the pics.
BTW. once installed, this never has to come off to drop the skid for oil change!

The center bolt does make contact with the skid, I think one day, I am goin to pull it down and replace that or all bolts with button head socket screws. That will give that piece a more finished look since it will never be removed!!!
