You are just finding an excuse to revert to bashing PRO owners by saying "It's all their fault". I never commented on "my truck's suspension is better than yours". In fact, if it wasn't for my signature you may not know I'm a TRDP owner.

The point was that [MENTION=104049]marshal[/MENTION] only has sarcastic comments to add, that are even sometimes offensive and add nothing of value to the thread - regardless of the conversation topic, which most of the time are bashing PRO owners. [MENTION=104049]marshal[/MENTION] is the person who initiated it, he had to open his big cack hole.

I could care less that I don't have the best suspension in my TRDP. I never said anything about "my truck will beat up your truck".

This is pretty interesting thread!!

But in all honesty if you are installing components to fit your needs then why go with what Toyota decide was the most functional. Just because they backed something doesn't mean it's the best and I realized that when I bought mine. (I liked the looks and the options.) if I would have gone with a trail like my original plan was I'd be going after market for sure. ( just to show we arnt all needled1cks, well I might have to confer with my wife about that before I make it fact on the interwebs)

This is usually how a thread goes when the topic is something already covered a lot in this forum. You can easily find opinions of the icon and trd suspension (of any suspension for that matter) if you use the search function.

Not justifying anything, just pointing out a reality. I am actually surprised at how many productive comments the op got. TRD pro guys got your back I guess.

Sometime I feel that the sarcasm is uncalled for, but here you have a guy talking about wanting "TRD Pro suspension" to get "3-4" of lift" and running 285/75r17's. Anyone who has been on the forum for over a month can see three reason why this would go off the rails immediately.

I have read numerous posts by [MENTION=104049]marshal[/MENTION] and he has made it clear in the past that a.) He feels the TRD Pro is over priced for what you get and b.) he does not like Icon shocks. You may agree or disagree with his opinion and supporting facts but knowing that frame of reference his first post is wholly expected. Marshal has provided much information to me and his posts are part of the reason I bought a TEP at a $2500+ discount over a TRD Pro at MSRP or $1000 under. The money can be put into better serving components. If Inferno was still around I may have bought the Pro instead for the color, but fully knowing what I had, much like [MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION].
