I was looking into meth/water injection too, but how long does it last and how often I have to refill was also a question.
Angus - I would love to hear/see more about what you do if you do decide to go to the larger pulley.

I suppose it would depend on the size of jet you run and how you set it up.
At this point I will hopefully get on the dyno tomorrow and will see if I can get rid of the pinging.
With the program that was uploaded to the AIC/timing unit, it has more power and drives smoother but at light throttle where it was super lean before but only pinged every so often - it now pings like a sonofa***** and I have to drive it lightly and keep it out of boost.
I feel like lowering the boost to 5PSI, I could tune it more aggressively and probably make about the same power and perhaps even get better drivability.

Just ordered the 2.65 pulley -
I figure it'll lower my overall stress on everything - in all honesty I bought this S/C for the sound, cool factor and a little more power (in about that order of importance - lol)
I have not felt the tranny slip yet but I haven't driven it that hard and I know if I do it;ll be an issue someday. At some point soon, I may install the transgo shift kit as well.
I'd rather have a bulletproof rig than have to worry about it.
I'll probably tune the thing for the stock pulley and then switch it - that way I can go back if I ever decide to (maybe).
Also worth mentioning is that "pulley boys" is actually Atkins Rotary - fairly well known and I've dealt with them before and they seemed good.

OK, got my pulley today.
It looks good but wouldn't slide on like the stock one. Just a hair too small, I heated it slightly and still wouldn't slide on so I had to use some sandpaper to open the hole. Just enough to take off the anodizing and it slid on with a slight interference by hand.
Soooooo.......
HA! - it has about 5psi now, spiking to about 5.5-6 and it is a little slower, but I can tell it's altogether easier on the driveline.
I am most likely going to swap back to the stock pulley for dyno tuning (still can't get in there) and then switch to the bigger pulley after.
I like the idea of less strain on all the parts and I'm not so worried about making those last few HP on this truck.

so did this solve your pinging issue? I am about ready to give up after going a similar route.

I wouldn't get a larger pulley to try and solve your pinging issues. I saw some of your posts in the SC thread. You've definitely got an issue somewhere and a larger pulley is just going to mask it (if it helps at all). I'm running a stock pulley on my SC with no 7th injector and I have zero pinging issues.
