OME 890's and OME 60028's.


New clutch should be delivered tomorrow.
Also got a new shifter seat and socket bushing from Marlin Crawler.

Clutch, and complete lift are scheduled for saturday. Small maintenance tomorrow.
 
I was debating on throwing 285's on my 97 without a lift but I need tires and don't want to buy 2 sets. But after seeing yours it looks like the rubbing shouldn't be too bad.

BTW your wheels looks sick AF!

Rubbing is minor. Only when you turn the tires 100% to the left or 100% to the right, is when they will rub. Personally, I would not recommend running 33's on stock suspension. Only reason why I did, was because I knew i was going to get a suspension in the future.

It's a little tough to shift into first gear sometimes on my 97 SR5 manual. Will those Shifter seat and socket bushings help you think? how much are those gonna cost a poor teenager like me?

Well, my clutch kit got delivered later than expected and I got called into work today, so I'll have to postpone that project till next week.
In other news, I've got a truck full of goodies waiting to be put on. Installed the K&N intake the other evening. Noticed minor gains while climbing hills. Hopefully I'll be able to get my lift on during the week. I put my old Firestik on to see if I like the red color in contrast with the green. Giving it a few days and see if it grows on me at all.
She's slowly coming together. Still have quite of work ahead of me, but in my eyes, its not work. It's a way of relaxing, clearing my mind, working on my babe, doing something I enjoy, and cant forget how great it feels after you complete a mod/maintenance job.
As soon as I get my lift on (and I dont rub anymore! haha) I'm heading straight for the trails!

Generally regarded as cheap. Fram, mastercraft, basically the things you'll find at Walmart are near the bottom rung of the oil filter world. I used a Fram Toughguard filter once only for the sake of breaking in a rebuilt motor (motor break ins require very quick oil changes, usually 500 miles, so cheaper can be better for those types of things). Personally, I would never run one of their filters for a full oil change interval, especially on a car I care about.

A lot of brands make a good oil filter, including Mobil 1 and K&N. These filters can be noticeably heavier (more filter media) and often filter better than the cheaper brands do. In the case of a high mileage engine like yours, you may want to consider another brand for better filtering properties. It may not make all the difference in the world, but the peace of mind is nice.
