So I've heard from a few people that MOOG parts rust quickly.. I'm about to swap out my worn out oem for MOOG inner/outer TREs, do you think I should paint the outer TRES or is it something that isn't worth it?

finally took some pics of the black carpet and my new OEM dash. took my wt black liners our so you can see. didn't have time to vacuum cargo area.

I would just use some rust oleum primer and paint. If you do it before hand you won't have to use something stronger later like por15. I like rust oleum pro primer and satin black from Home Depot. Degrease the machine oil and paint.

Good God that looks like a lot of bass. "Club 4Runner" ..

I checked my rig, and I don't appear to have the foot area courtesy lights. Do you know if certain years/model types do not have these?

I changed back to stock after my trd dual. I just recently changed the tip to try to get less fumes when I have my rear window open.

It's just a dc slant/dual/oval from Amazon welded on oem exhaust. All those raptor threads made me want a that raptor look.

Exhaust tips look good! Any discoloring noticed after putting it on? I was just looking at the reviews on Amazon, and that was the only down side. Just curious.

thanks i have been running it since that post and i even welded mine and no excessive rusting. it is a stainless tip so there is a slight darkening and won't stay bright like chrome does. if i were to do it again I would go with the shorter one on amazon there was 2 choices.

Side note just ordered Mc Niel fender flares and its a 2 week lead time. Counting the days :faint:

thanks guys, i invest in stereo equipment for CA traffic.

None of the 4runners have them. I'm using the cheap led strips from amazon and i tapped into the dimmer in my head unit. others have tapped into the key circuit to come on as courtesy lights.

any plans for building a bumper with the flares?

I figure i got a month to plan, its out 2 weeks for fender build and 2 weeks to fit and paint them. I already picked up some 1/4 plate and some square tube. i have a flux core welder that I'm gonna try to pull something out my arse. If not it will hold me by till i get a demello.

Are you getting fenders??

I thought about it but I'll just leave the stockers on there. Kind of like the stealthy "stock" look

Interior Panel/Trim Paint

What kind of paint/interior panels do you have? the piano black looks really good, is it wrapped or did you paint it yourself, or did the truck come with it

Rust oleum automotive primer, paint and clear spray cans from Home Depot. It's holding up really well and I wet sanded and buffed

Looking good man!

Where did you get your fenders painted? and how much did you pay?

I like how the interior turned out so I used a hvlp and used the rust oleum automotive quarts. I'm waiting a week before I wet sand and buff. I won't say if I like it till then.

Here is the front of my bumper it's still dirty from a trip from Vegas.

added mt 3 in rear long travel springs and they ride super nice. i kept the airbag to see how it feels. I also need to install a new wheel bearing, tacoma front springs and energy front LCA bushings.
